Every worthwhile project begins with a vision. Someone must see the potential and opportunity. The Hudson Academy Foundation saw that potential and works to create opportunity  every day!

The Hudson Academy Foundation is a non-profit corporation helping children and families strive to achieve their goals by offering an array of programs and services in a diverse environment. The Hudson Academy Foundation seeks to reduce the root causes of juvenile crime through new and innovative approaches. The physical arts are uniquely suited for the personal development of children, stressing such values as respect, discipline, courage, and integrity while also teaching goal-setting skills and instilling a positive work ethic.

Mission                                                                             The Glenn Hudson Muay Thai Self Defense Academy’s (“Hudson Academy”) mission is to instill discipline, honesty, and integrity while promoting self-awareness, self-esteem, and self-perseverance. The Hudson Academy is dedicated to helping children and families strive to achieve their goals by offering an array of programs and services in a diverse atmosphere.

Vision                                                                  The vision of the Hudson Academy is to improve the conditions of the family structure in as many homes as possible; to encourage the youth in the Village of Robbins and surrounding communities to believe in themselves; to provide the information, tools, and skills needed to enrich the lives of families; and to stop the cycle of poverty and dependence upon a system that is unable to meet the needs of many children and adults residing in Robbins and surrounding communities.

Who Do We Serve?
The Hudson Academy serves the following communities: the Village of Robbins, Crestwood, Midlothian, Orland, Palos Hills, Worth, Bridgeview, Blue Island, Harvey, Chicago, Dolton, Riverdale, Hazel Crest, Country Club Hills, Homewood, Markham and Flossmoor.
